Pupkewitz Toyota, in partnership with Wilderness and Children in the Wilderness, has officially launched the Save a Rhino campaign – a bold initiative aimed at raising awareness and rallying collective action to protect Namibia’s iconic rhino population.
As custodians of one of the world’s most endangered species, Namibia stands at the frontline of conservation. With poaching and habitat loss posing growing threats, the Save a Rhino campaign seeks to highlight the urgent need for protection while inspiring communities, businesses, and individuals to take part in safeguarding these majestic animals for generations to come.
At the heart of the campaign is a unique cycling event designed to raise funds and awareness.
Safety remains a top priority. Nampol officers will patrol the route, with marshals stationed at critical points and full event logistics in place. Beyond cycling, participants and supporters can enjoy a festive atmosphere featuring a beer tent, coffee bar, and food vendors. While there will be no official race winners, every rider will be celebrated as a winner, with exciting lucky draws adding to the fun.
