Cricket Namibia got New Wheels

Our country is experiencing a very challenging time with regard to the economy as well as the drought experienced.

In times like this, when a business’ sales volumes and margins are under pressure, the next option to make the business work is to go into cost cutting.

Pupkewitz Toyota has been confronted with the same reality, and yes, we have managed to reduce our expenses in certain areas of the business. These savings have served us well in ensuring we continue to have a healthy business.

As a business, Pupkewitz Toyota, has always viewed its obligation to Namibia, as stretching beyond paying all relevant taxes and merely “comply” with legislation.

It is our firm believe that although we cannot change the Country’s overall state overnight, each one of us can make a small change in our respective areas of influence, and that the sum of all these initiatives can indeed change our Country for the best.

When Namibia’s cricket team qualified for the ICC T20 World cup to be hosted in Australia in October 2020, we started asking ourselves the question: how can we support our team in the ramp-up to the World Cup? Towards the end of last year, we had our first meeting with Cricket Namibia to explore options, and we are proud today to announce that Pupkewitz Toyota will sponsor Cricket Namibia with two vehicles for an initial period of 12 months, with the option to extend a further 12 months.

We wish to acknowledge our employees as well as our loyal customers. Our Pupkewitz Toyota team, whom through their loyalty and passion, continues to serve our customers, one by one. A huge thank you. Our loyal customers who continue to support our business, thank you for making initiatives like this possible.

Finally: Our message to our National Cricket team, short and sweet: Make us Proud.
