Refreshed Nissan Qashqai range with all-new NissanConnect 2.0 Infotainment System
Johannesburg - South Africa (10 December, 2019) Nissan South Africa is excited to announce a refreshed Nissan Qashqai range, and the arrival of the all-new NissanConnect 2.0 infotainment system.
NissanConnect is an advanced infotainment system which enhances the relationship between you and your vehicle through the seamless and intuitive integration of your smartphone with your Qashqai. With a host of features that make every day commuting and communicating even more of a breeze, the NissanConnect 2.0 infotainment system now allows you to connect and interact with your car like never before.
The NissanConnect 2.0 infotainment system
The new interface has a smooth, intuitive display; a redesigned fascia; customizable home-screens and widgets; as well as single line search – a new functionality in the navigation system (Tekna only), which speeds up and simplifies the process of finding a location.
And the 7” touch screen features a new button layout as well as a new processor for faster response that doesn’t compromise the operability of any currently active functions.
NissanConnect 2.0 comes standard with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as a rear-view camera, which allows for safer, more confident parking and helps avoid unwanted scratches and dents on the rear bumper.
Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) features expansion to the range
While the NIM features are no stranger to the Nissan Qashqai, we are delighted to announce the expansion of the following NIM features on the Qashqai (already available on the Tekna today):
These include Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Blind Spot Warning, and Intelligent Cross Traffic Alert.
The Nissan Qashqai 1.2T Tekna CVT
And that’s not all. It’s also available with a CVT (continuously variable transmission) in the Tekna grade.
The Nissan Qashqai 1.2T Tekna CVT combines the smooth drive of the CVT and the luxury of the Tekna grade. It comes with a number of additional NIM features, including Intelligent Around View Monitor, Intelligent Moving Object Detection and On-Board Navigation.
The refreshed range now boasts a streamlined 5 model range, with NissanConnect 2.0 and NIM features as Standard from the Acenta grade upwards.
