What is Speed Week?
Speed Week is a gathering of the fastest, most exciting vehicles of the year contending for the ultimate trophy - that of being the best performance car of the year, evaluated and decided by TopGear SA.
Speed Week involves 3 key elements:
A road trip element where cars are evaluated in real world conditions
A performance-testing element where absolute Performance is measured in a controlled environment.
A Public Participation Element where the public can have their say in what they deem to be the best Performance Car and have an in-person interaction with the TopGear SA Team and the cars
Out of 13 worthy contestants the Civic Type R was crowned the overall winner, thus receiving Gold Medal Status for TopGear SA Speed Week 2023.
The Civic Type R represents the pinnacle of Honda performance and this accolade is true testament to a car that embodies performance and refinement whilst providing an exhilarating driving experience.
