A legend brought back to life

Inspired by the R 80 G/S from 1980, the R 12 G/S combines nostalgia with modern engineering. Its unmistakable design is available in Light White, Frozen Brooklyn Grey Metallic and Night Black Matt, with styling details that celebrate the heritage of the original G/S.

Built for off-road riding

With 240 mm of ground clearance and an 860 mm seat height, the R 12 G/S is made with adventure in mind. Enduro suspension, ABS Pro and the optional Enduro Package Pro add to its off-road capability, while the additional LED headlight provides enhanced visibility.

Boxer power

At the heart of the R 12 G/S is BMW Motorrad's iconic boxer engine, producing 109 hp and 115 Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm. Three riding modes — RAIN, ROAD and ENDURO — allow you to adapt the riding experience to suit different conditions and your preferences.
