The Hino 300 Series Minor Change design has been optimized in response to each vehicle sizes, with the aim of achieving an energetic newness and liveliness of carrying medium-sized cargo. At a glance, the Hino likeness can be distinguished by the shape of the grille bar, the size of the front decals, and the rectangular grille.

• Front decals are repositioned vertically upwards, the “300” decal hue has been altered from red to grey.

• Chassis frames have been improved to simplify the body building process.

• Narrow cab models have a front bumper change and a joined frame.

• New differential design.

The new Hino 300 Series is equipped with Daytime Running Lights as standard feature to improve vehicle safety and exterior styling. The halogen-type headlamp conforms with the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) regulation. This increases the daytime driving safety of the vehicle.

Easy & Smooth system has been adopted as an auxiliary function, to support smooth starting off after stopping on an uphill slope without the vehicle rolling backwards with no assistance of a hand brake. This function is only available on manual transmission models. However, on automatic transmission, torque converter is a substitute for this function. The advantage of hill assist is that there is less stress on the driver, resulting in safety and convenience and long clutch service life as the driver does not have to use clutch to hold the vehicle on an uphill.
