Pupkewitz Motors Showcasing Training Programs at Delta Career Fair

Pupkewitz Motors participated in the Delta Career Fair on the 29th of August 2023. The event provided an excellent platform for Pupkewitz Motors to showcase our comprehensive training programs, including the Vehicle Sales Trainee Program, Mechanical Trainee Program, and CATS (Commercial Advancement Training Scheme) Trainee Program.

The Vehicle Sales Trainee Program offered by Pupkewitz Motors is designed to provide on-the-job training within the dealerships, focusing on the full vehicle sales process. Key requirements for this program include a Grade 11 or Grade 12 qualification, a valid driver's license, Namibian citizenship, fluency in English (with a second language being advantageous), and a passion for vehicle sales. The program, which lasts for 3-6 months, offers practical learning opportunities and the possibility of a permanent appointment upon successful completion.

For those interested in pursuing a career in the mechanical field, Pupkewitz Motors offers the Mechanical Trainee Program. This program provides a dual learning opportunity, combining theoretical training at a selected Vocational Training Institute with practical training within the workshops at various dealerships. Candidates with a JSC (Grade 10) certificate with 23 points in 6 subjects, E Symbol in English, Mathematics and Physical Science OR New Curriculum (NSSCO) (Grade 11) with 20 Points in 6 subjects, E Symbol in English, Mathematics and Physical are eligible to apply. The program has a duration of 36 months and offers the chance to obtain an NQF 4 Qualification in the Mechanical field, practical experience, and the possibility of permanent employment.

Additionally, Pupkewitz Motors presents the CATS Trainee Program, which allows individuals to receive on-the-job training within departments and dealerships while completing a diploma in business process management. This program offers a unique dual education approach, where participants study while working. Requirements for the CATS Trainee Program include a Grade 11 or 12 qualification with a minimum of 30 points in 5 subjects at NSSC level, a Namibian citizenship, and a strong work ethic. The program lasts for 2 years and provides a fixed-term contract, a stipend during the training period, and the opportunity to obtain a diploma upon completion.
