Pupkewitz Motors proudly announces the recognition of Etienne Steenkamp, Franchise Director of Pupkewitz Toyota in Namibia, with the prestigious Toyota Chairmanship Award. The award ceremony took place on the 15th of March 2024, at the Toyota Dealer Awards in Sandton, Johannesburg, a hallmark event for Toyota dealers across southern Africa, including South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, and Eswatini.
Etienne Steenkamp's remarkable leadership and dedication to the Toyota brand have earned him this esteemed honour. With a career spanning 19 years, Steenkamp has exemplified the values of integrity, excellence, and commitment within the automotive industry, embodying the transformative power of value-based leadership.
Expressing his pride in representing Pupkewitz Toyota on an international stage, Steenkamp remarked, "I did not expect it, and it was a tremendous honour. I have so much passion and appreciation for Toyota’s products, admiration for the Leadership at Toyota SA, and loyalty to the Pupkewitz Group and its shareholders to be placed at Pupkewitz Toyota. I could not receive a more valued recognition on this earth, believing for one day in heaven."

As Chairman of the regional dealer council intermittently since 2006, he has tirelessly advocated for the interests of Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) and the dealer network, ensuring fairness and integrity in addressing concerns.
